About Us
We are a UK-based non-profit organization providing free computer science courses to a diverse group of students based in the UK who do not have access to modern Computer Science Education through traditional means of education. Studying Computer Science has empowered us with the technical skills to succeed in an ever-changing world. We aim to share these skills with UK students who do not have access to adequate resources to develop these skills and those traditionally underrepresented in computer science to expand access to this rapidly growing field.
Yifei Yan
Founder
Yifei Yan is a high school student at the American School in London (ASL) who is interested in science, mathematics, and computer science. Over the past 3 years in high school, he has actively sought to develop his engineering, computer science, and leadership skills through his extracurriculars and competitions. Last year, he was one of 2000 students to attend the Yale Young Global Scholars program (YYGS), one of the most globally diverse academic enrichment programs where he learned how to identify issues within the modern world and create positive changes. He combines his interest in these topics with his desire to assist others, working with ASL's robotics program and the Rugby Portobello Trust charity inspiring younger students to develop a curiosity of the world. Now, he is eager to start his own initiative Wobbltech to spread his passion for computer science to others. He aspires to provide students across the UK and beyond with the necessary technical skills to thrive in the modern world.
